For some reason, I'm wanting to just skip over Thanksgiving and move right into Christmas this year. I've been tempted to break out the Christmas music early -I usually wait until the day after Thanksgiving- and shop and wrap and finish it all right now! I don't know what's going on with me. I just LOVE Christmas, and guess what?! This will be my first ever Christmas Eve and morning in my own house - just me, Brad and our little ones!!! Maybe I already mentioned that in a previous post, but I am very excited about it. Just thought I'd share my excitement. :)

I understand completely! I'm decorating tomorrow before Chris gets home so he can't stop me!
I totally understand also...however, I do have a rule that I need to wait until after Thanksgiving...the day after before I'll let myself get into the Christmas mood...I have XM and Sirius radio and they're playing Christmas songs already! Only one station right now, but after Thanksgiving, there will be at least 4 or 5 and I'll be tuned in! Christmas is my favorite too!
BTW, we may see you this Christmas...we're going to be in Morgantown from dec. 20th-25th...and my parents just bought a house in the Masontown ward boundaries..so maybe we'll see you if you're visiting your family?!
I'm the same way every year. It takes a lot of restraint to wait until after thanksgiving. I also start taking it down the day after Christmas. P.S. Bethany looks exactly like you did when you were her age! It's freaky!
Go ahead and break out the music. I did. My girls love it. They never get tired of it.We have a dance party to Christmas music. Kimberly loves it.
I'm with Deana. Usually I don't like to do Christmas stuff until after Thanksgiving either, but for some reason this year I'm all jumbled up. Summer seemed to last forever and now it's like I'm just ready to do Christmas. Maybe you're feeling the same because you've already had snow? Anyway, we're going camping for Thanksgiving this year and so maybe that's why I feel okay moving on. Go with your gut!
I am all about Christmas music as well. I also try to wait until after Thanksgiving, but I am almost done with my shopping. I've already started pulling the decorations out of the attic. Usually Thanksgiving is a huge deal to me, I love to cook and I usually end up baking way too much food. This year I would be just fine having pizza and just playing with the kids. I thought I was wierd, but it looks like I'm not the only one this year! :)
As far as my picture on my blog, that really is us. We have both changed a ton. :)
